Welcome to "The DOCS"

We are a WWII living history and reenactment unit located in the Chicago area. We strive to portray the D.C.L.I. or Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry, a British infantry unit, as they appeared during the Second World War. The Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry was in every major theater of the war that the British Commonwealth Forces fought in. Our main two impressions and interpretations are how the D.C.L.I. appeared in the British Expeditionary Forces in 1940, and how the D.C.L.I. appeared during and after the D-Day invasion. Our group also portrays the D.C.L.I. during the North African and Italian campaigns.

Our unit also has members who portray different aspects of life in London during the Blitz.
